Munarbek: Spring at Chaar Ranch: New Beginnings and Big Plans
TanSuluu watching his new herd
After a long and frosty winter, spring has finally arrived at our Chaar Ranch. But despite the cold and snow, this winter was full of warmth and excitement — all thanks to Salomé and Leon. Their presence brought joy, fresh energy, and a sense of family to our team, especially to Kuku and his family, as well as to all our neighbors in this picturesque valley surrounded by majestic mountains.
We’re especially grateful for their contribution to the local school — they helped the children take a big step forward in learning French, opening a new window to the world.
Today, we feel a little sad, as it’s time to part ways. But we’re not saying goodbye — only “see you soon.” Over these past months, strong friendships have been forged, and we know we’ll meet again and create more wonderful memories together.
Meanwhile, life on the ranch keeps moving. Chaar Suluu and Besh have taken their herd about 3 km away from the ranch to graze peacefully during the foaling season. Out in the pastures, Tan Suluu and Ak Suluu are working tirelessly to win the trust of the new mares and to create a strong, united herd — one that will last for generations. Watching this natural rhythm of life unfold reminds us why the Chaar horse is so special.

But now, we move forward! In just a few days, our horseball team is flying to Buenos Aires to take part in the World Championship! It’s a huge honor for us to compete against the strongest teams from all continents and to fight for the World Cup.
You’ll recognize some familiar faces from our reels: Kuku (#4), Yrys (#2), and Yryskeldi (#6) — they’ll be out on the field representing Kyrgyzstan. Our first match will be against the team from the United Kingdom right after we land. Follow us on Instagram and YouTube — we promise to share every thrilling moment with you!

And that’s not all! When we return home, we’ll be diving straight into the exciting spring season — the foaling season is already underway, and we’ll be updating you almost daily with fresh news.
In May, we will be welcoming a long-awaited group from the USA, led by our Chaar ambassador, York. If you’re from the U.S., get in touch with her — there are still a few spots left! This will be a journey filled with encounters with the unique Chaar horses and visits to historical sites connected to their thousand-year-old story.
And for the adventurous souls out there — don’t miss the Chaar Expedition in July! Wild landscapes, mountain trails, untamed nature, ancient legends, and the spirit of the nomadic life — all of this will be shared with you by our ambassadors: Nicolas, Alice, Laura, and Kayla. There are just a couple of spots left — message us if you want to be part of this unforgettable journey!
Spring is a time for renewal and discovery. Join us — the adventure is just beginning!
See you soon at Chaar Ranch!
